Early Life and Career
Sir Andrew Barron Murray OBE, born on 15 May 1987, is a British professional tennis player who has held the world number one ranking in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
Grand Slam Success
Murray has won three Grand Slam singles titles: the US Open in 2012, Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016. He is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist, having won in singles at the 2012 London Games and mixed doubles at the 2016 Rio Games.
